With a molecular formula of C6H8OS, Thiophene-2-Ethanol is a liquid solution that is clear light yellow to gray-green or brownish in colour. It is slightly soluble in water with a density of 1.153 g/mL at 25 degree C (lit.), boling point of 108-109 degree C/13 mmHg (lit.) and flash point of 214degree F. Mainly used as an antithrombotic drug ticlopidine intermediate, it must be stored below +30degree C. Many clients also use Thiophene-2-Ethanol as pharmaceutical intermediates and organic synthesis intermediates.
