Tetramethylene Sulfone is a water soluble chemical that also blends in alcohol, acetone, aromatic hydrocarbons, diluted mineral acids, xylene, methyl mercaptan, benzene and toluene. This Yellow coloured liquid available in glass bottle has a melting point of 27.4degree C to 27.8degree C and boiling point of 285.0degree C. Known for its chemical and thermal stability, Tetramethylene Sulfone can be used to purify and desulfurize natural and refinery gas, extract aromatic hydrocarbons from oil made by reforming, and the impurities removal in hydrogen. It is used as desulfurization solvent, casting film solvent and aromatic extraction solvent.
